Edge 705 or Cs600

HELP ... which one do I get. I am a social rider and have been using the S725x for the past 4 years which has just packed up. To repair will cost R2k so not worth it. Any suggestions would be great ... thx

I use the edge 305 and I love it, the only thing with the garmin is that it needs charging, while I dont think the polar has that "problem"

 

so when you are doing a stage race, just make sure you have something to charge it with!

 

but if you're only " a social rider" I'd take the garmin,,

 

(it can be used for much more than cycling aswell)

my polar service has been great, once it got dropped and the screen went dotty, sent it in and had the screen replaced, same happened with my dad

Polar is great...

 

I've had like 4...Sold them as I got the a new model.

 

Never had any issues...Only replaced batteries.

 

 

 

I use an Edge 705 and like it a lot.

 

No issues yet...

 

 

 

It will come down to personal taste.
