I'll PM the few thats left and see if they still wanna go out, but at this stage it looks like this ride(fast group at least) wont go ahead. The bloody last time i'm trying to organize a ride

Slowbee Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Ok, so really miffed right now. Went through to waterstone car park, NO ONE !!!! arrived. Waited till 7.30am. Organised hot coffee and tea with chocolate crossaints and there was no one !! Just a tad miffed.
racman Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 What time were you there Slowbee? I rode down from my place and saw no group and then just went for a short 50km via Polkedraai. I must apologize though, as I didn't go into the parking and merely had a brief look as I came down the hill, as I thought BMC had cancelled the ride. (I must have misunderstood his earlier posts.) A pity as it was going to be the first hub ride that I actually make. Again, my apologies to you !!!
Slowbee Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 racman, I was there from about 06H50!! Was expecting to meet all the gang. My first hub ride to nd it did not happen! I saw loads of people on bikes riding past and hoped that some would come down, but non did!

Was also going to be my 1st hub ride and, as I said earlier, was looking for a crowd so went on when didn't see any group. Of my 3 who were supposed to join, 2 also bailed. The sad thing is that thsi will probably be the last one that I can join before I move to JHB (although there is the DC hub ride I suppose )
