Experience some of the most exciting trails in Cape Town. 


We offer bicycle rides in Tokai Plantation on the Constantiaberg Mountains.


Tokai Plantation, the leading trails in South Africa; it offers jeep track and loads of single track riding.  Set on the Constantiaberg, Tokai offers beautiful scenic rides through a nationally protected area. There is a national downhill course starting at the top of the mountain to challenge the most experienced riders. The terrain is varying, from fairly smooth and hard packed to rocky, making it ideal for all different abilities of riders, and ranging from the downhill beginners to world class riders.  Tokai Forest is an idyllic setting for improving riding skills, challenging yourself or just going for a great ride with the bonus of seeing South Africa's wildlife and perhaps even cycling through troops of baboons!


We supply our new Giant Rincon 27 speed mountain bikes with front suspension and disk brakes. Feel free to bring your own SPD shoes as we have pedals we can fit for you.


DOWNHILL ADVENTURES PROVIDES: Bikes, helmets, transportation, water bottles, and professional guides.


YOU NEED TO BRING: Comfortable shoes, sun block, and sunglasses.

how much does it cost to ride there normally?

or if your live in the Cape get a Cape Peninsula Wild Card (not sure the proper name) for +- R60 which gives you 12 entries to Cape Point, Boulders etc. and then get the Tokai/Silvermine mountain bike add on for R200 which valid for 12 months
