The Werewolf ride

Recommended Posts

While night riding 2 weeks ago we started discussing the possibility of doing a Breedts Neck night ride.

Who would be interested in something like this and has it been tried before?

We recon it will take about 4 hours and if one starts at 6 (during summer) then one would need lights for about 3 - 3.5 hours which should be okish for most battery packs.

Coincide this ride with fullmoon and one will have an unbelievable scenery at the top of the valley and surroundings - might also help with a bit of clarity on the road.

Hey Borriz, I've been talking about a ride like this for ages now... just wasn't sure that anyone else would find it as appealing as I do Wink

The condition that road is in at the moment might make for a dangerous descent though in the dark Confused

Lets see how many people might be interested and chat?  I could probably provide secure parking which would add an extra 8 kays to the ride, then maybe we could do a potjie/braai or something after??

Oh yes, great idea. Ermm

Let's drag Hog up the hill that ends all hills, and let him descend when he's too tired to talk normal, THEN pump him full of food and beer and let him drive home way past his bed time...

I'M IN!! Big%20smile

(Oh, I don't have lights, so I'll have to ride in front. You're all going to have to wait for me!)

Rather eat your carrots. Your chances to get to the bottom unscathed will be a lot better than trying to stay out front in the dark!

haha hr probably not - i don't keep track of the phases of the moon :)

<hijack on>

it would be a waste to not ride on a weekday night if you can sleep in the next day, don't you think? do you know anyone who could maybe try to twist geoff's arm to keep the bikepark open that night?
