Drug Testing

Napalm

Well I have seen "certain" pro teams cheat race after race with catching a free ride back onto the pack by their backup vehicle (and no it was not in the convoy' date=' way, way behind) so I would not put it pas them to dope as well. If you are willing to cheat in any circumstance you will most likely cheat in most.

?

What will be interesting to see is what their bodies will look like after all the years of abuse? Dumbasses!

Dude next time you get a chance to see how many teams cheat just take a look at the cars bumper at the back you will see black marks from the tires those are the guys who get back to the bunch at any cost where as the guys who dont do the whole motor pacing seem to be the ones winning most of the time!!!

You will also notice that some of those guys who get back onto the bunch are also the guys that are used to help the team win. They may not be climbers for instance, but when back on on the flats may be the ideal lead out man. All in all, it is still cheating and has no place in our sport. We may as well go and play soccer and fall over whenever someone so much as breathes on us.

Dude, come on, burns on a bumper don't necessarily indicate cheating. Almost all the pro teams do motorpacing (outside of racing) as training for speedwork, and then burn the bumper with their tyres - Means nothing. You'll find tyre burns on cars that don't even get used in/near races - It's part of training. Thumbs%20Down

Name and shame: No one likes a tattle tale and it would also be very unfare on the sponsors.

As for me getting a mate to drag me along, I may as well just dope as well.

You wanna know why I don't cheat, one reason, I don't want to be my family shame by being the reason why people would come up to my parents or wife and say, oh, is that your son/husband, the cheat!

Besides, what glory or honor or satisfaction is there in cheating. One day you will be old and look back on your life and wonder where all of that was within you.

Maybe they should make doping legal, then you can stand on the podium with your doctor next to you. And then you can take it a step further: have a points system for the best doctor, almost like the constructors championship in Formula One!

hehehe, a buddy of mine plays rugby for the German national team. He lives in Cape Town and he asked them once how they were going to test him living in South Africa added with the fact that the national team is an amatuer setup.

On Tuesday he gets a knock on the door and it's a guy from Germany that's come to test him.

but you only allowed to dope if your doctor takes the same drugs in the same amounts.

MMM, now let me guess, no doctors would be willing to help cause they are actually rather clever people who know what is GOOD for you.

out here for their off season training stints as well - for the same

reason. Why can't the WADA guys just get a life ....

I remember getting tested at SA Champs swimming during the 90's at junior level - under 16 and under 18. I havn't heard about juniors getting tested in cycling before this. It is definately a good thing and a wake up call for some. It seems worth it if you don't get caught.
