The only coffeeshops that were closed were on the borders with Belgium and Germany to keep out the foreign druggies!!! Locals can still puff away. Strangely, it is now illegal to smoke cigarettes in coffeeshops or any other shops. So in other words, you can get fined for smoking a ciggie, but you're safe it's a nice fat joint!
