sure is! the bollards and the trenches in the city streets at the moment present a serious challenge. however' date=' it's not the trucks and taxis i worry about -?they're reduced to a near-standstill?anyway - it's the damned pedestrians! they cross everywhereShocked have had to shoudler and elbow a few to save my own skinEvil%20Smile[/quote']

Keep your arm bend when giving pedestrians a 'klap', might hurt your elbow when your arm is locked when delivering the blow

I'm seeing a big padded earbud attached to the front end. Saw a programme on TV a while back where they had modern jousting (is that the thing on horseback where you charge each other) and they used big padded lances (again is this what it is called). Man, you could have a bit of fun with this.

Also how about that siren that they have at CRC that uses a pressurised water bottle. Bells DO NOT work. They cant hear it above the rining in their head.

HR, you trying to do bar spins? I can't flick my front wheel around without the tyre catching on the downtube, kinda sucks, there is however an intense and child like joy to be derived from throwing all your weight forward and sliding through cars parked in traffic (while wearing my work suit), just about the most fun thing in the world!

yup i amBig%20smilehad to fiddle with the angle of the bars for a while, because i've got a short stem and risers. i've gotta be careful with the slides. the back wheel is a tubbie (i know that's the wrong thing to do, and i am building up another wheel*), so it could get expensive.Shocked

commuting on that bike is so much fun. you have to be in tune with so much more going on around you than on other bikes. i also love freaking some drivers by track-standig beside them, then pedalling backwards and disappearing. they rubber-neck to their blind spots to see where i've gone!LOL

*at the shop on saturday, ian ended up lacing a customer's rim to my other hub by mistakeLOL
