When is bling to much?

So my question is - will silver XT hubs and silver (not sure if you can get them in silver) mavic rims with white spokes and blue nipples be to bling?

 

Alternative is to do hubs and rims in black

 

When will mtb wheels look like the white rim taxi wheels?

reminds me of a Time bike that was standing in the LBS. Wasn't blinged, but the colour scheme was overdone and therefore the look of it imo sucked. Was red/black /white frame, with zipps(red ,black,white), with a seat(red ,black,white), handle bar tape, (red/black) etc etc. It looked crap, yes you can overdo that. So , when the bling is this busy look... then its overdone!
