RedDevil Posted March 21, 2009 Share Could someone suggest any remedy for a slipping seat post on my MTB? I get worried 2hrs into a ride as I see my cahoonas coming closer to the top tube... timdm Posted March 21, 2009 Share Do you have a shim to accomodate a smaller seatpost in a slightly larger seat-tube?This was the pain of my existence on my Giant XTC, until I turned the seatclamp around so that the tightening screw is on the same side as the slit in the seat tube.Hope this helps!
