Anyone know how to correct a leg length discrepency on a time MTB pedal system?

Or if not possible does anyone know of another mtb pedal system that allows you to add shims to correct LLD.

I would like to add a  3 - 5 mm shim on one side?

Thanks

I think all you should need to do this is the correct length bolts. Just measure the current length + the thickness of the shims and all should be okay.

Ja sure...but can you just add a 3mm shim underneath a time mtb cleat and was wondering if anyone has tried it?

I know' date=' it's called a seat post binder bolt. You loosen it, and set your saddle to the correct height... [/quote']

LOL Funny bob... correct height for which leg, the long or the short leg?

BTW, the shortest leg when the pedal is at 6 o'clock. You don't want to rock for the shortest leg to reach the bottom of the spin.

Weirdo. My legs are the same length...

I bet you they aren't... only weirdos have 2 legs exactly the same length.

And I'll bet mine are close enough not to bother me on the bike (or any other time)

Swiss' date=' I got the same problem. I need a 3mm on my right leg. You cannot asdjust as the mtb pedals and cleats is not flat as on a road shoe.[/quote']

Ja its a bit of a problem... been riding most of winter with a 3mm shim on my road shoe set up which seems to help, and now want to continue with the same set up on my mtb.

Lucky you, you never get lower back pain while riding or standing around?
