Will definately look them up again for accomodation.

During one of the riders' runs(might've been Greg....can't remember) he exclaimed "If he was any smoother he'd be liquidised!" He also referred to Sam Hill as "Christ on a bike"

Sean Badenhorst Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Rob Warner is a great guy. We organised a Zulu warrior outfit for him which he wore sans underwear for an intro piece the guys did. It's on their site. Took us a few goes to tell him how to say 'sawubona'. The TV guys (the Freecaster crew and Smareg Media - UCI's official TV guys) were all really cool. They work flippen hard and never complain.

Danger Dassie Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Along with all the good results and experiences it was a good learning curve for a lot of us I think, gained some invaluable experience there! My good deed for the event was teaching Trek's brand manager the meaning and concept of a 'PK' Maybe he'll apply it to some Trek marketing or a model name. Have to love cultural exchanges.
