DaLoCo Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 "Bridges of Tokai Forest". Will make for a good "Made for TV" movie. Wonder who we can get to play the sick busted up dude. bridge over the river (not so) kwaai? Masterstroke
bustthesickness Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Just to repeat the obvious here, but the BRIDGE NEEDS TO GO!
Guest Agteros Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 bustthesickness please stop flogging your dead horse, just now somebody mistakes it for a kinky flavour of necrophilia

javadude Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 "Bridges of Tokai Forest". Will make for a good "Made for TV" movie. Wonder who we can get to play the sick busted up dude. Donald Sutherland Don't think we have the budget for that. I was thinking of Steve Hofmayer with an 80's Mullet and an 80's Bomber with back pedal brakes. I can just imagine his look of utter disgust when he skids up to the little bridge with his stove pipes and white gypsy takkies. Scene 2: BTS's love interest comes skipping along from out of the forest. "Hello ouboet, hoekom lyk jy so kwaai". "Nee wat sussie, hierdie is n klomp strond. Wie het die f@#$^n brug hier gebou".
bustthesickness Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 its really funny - don't stop Well, it's REALLY sad for the up and coming kids who might have wanted to learn how to cross rivers. Tokai will never be the same again eh. I was actually so upset and nauseated that I visited 'Hello Peter' website to see if I could possibly make a complaint there. I was somehow directed to another site called "Cheap Vi@gra" where I actually picked up an awesome deal. I'll be leaving a couple of boxes of blue pills at the bridge at Tokai so that all the soft c0cs who ride it now will have a remedy for when they venture up the hill to ride the hero trails. On the 'Ask Dr.Phil' website he actually suggested that I join the AMA, and use the socks to filter water if I ever get stuck out in the Serengeti. Thanks Phil.
Tumbleweed Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Just to repeat the obvious here' date=' but the BRIDGE NEEDS TO GO![/quote'] then go take that out?

LazyTrailRider Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 BTS, sorry, I've been busy for the last couple of days - this is my first check-back on this thread. From trying to catch up a bit and reading your responses, I've realised that there isn't really much point in arguing with you. You're an idiot. I could ask you how old you are (and then make logical conclusions about your attitude and leave it be), but I'm not interested in wasting any more time. Actually, no, let's waste 30 more seconds. How old are you? When Meurant, Jack Randall and I were working on the World Cup DH course in 1997, lots of people complained about it being "too easy", so I guess you're probably right about me being a roadie (I'm actually looking at buying a road bike at the moment, now that we're on the topic). Of course, we weren't just thinking about gnarliness when tweaking lines, drops etc. We actually had to take things like safety, erosion and sustainability into account. Things don't change that much in 12 years, I guess. Anyway, thanks for bringing the bridge issue up, and feel free to laugh at my inability to clear technical obstacles when you see me riding at Tokai (yellow XC-setup Giant XTC, white and blue kit). Have a good weekend, kids!

[/quote'] Don't know Tokai so well anymore - but there is a little river crossing as you enter boulders riding up - good for children, and if we wait a little it might turn into the river crossing like fairy garden's once was. Maybe a skinnie accross that one?

I'm deeply hurt by your evil comments. ok, I'm not really. In fact, when a complete toolbag like yourself calls me names, it's the same as calling me cool stuff, so keep it up. LOVE your work! Mark, really now, what a TOTALLY redundant post dude. You actually just posted all that drivel to drop in the part where you make out u'r a trailbuilder. Here's what your post ACTUALLY says, that in 12 years you STILL can't cross a baby river and need a bridge (over troubled waters)! Shame.I'll keep an eye out for you though. Actually, no, I wont. See ya'll 'hubbers' aka cool guys
