No Name Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Just got an email from our club with the latest track selections. It gives everybody's names that were selected, but next to some there were comments written. Now I want to know how the hell can you send out an email and make a comment next to someones name that states that their performance at the nationals were dissapointing and that they expected more from you. WTH!!!!! Can't they just pop the guy an email to tell him in person. I would be very peeved if that was me. I see the email orginated from Cycling South Africa. Not sure who did the spreadsheet.
EigerSA Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I'm not a huge fan of CyclingSA, so not at all surprised that something like this has happened. I just wonder if the person responsible for the oversight will stand and say sorry, or whether there will just be stony silence as usual?

Napalm Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I think it's good that it's a transparent process, and riders are given reasons why they've been cut. If the process was completely closed there would have been complaints as well. It's insane.
