Dirty, The museum of Telecomms?

I will look around the Office and ask , that model is about 3-4 years old, would not recommend the features are old and the only redeeming feature is it is virtually Indestructible, I have a clip somewhere where they drive over the Phone, Burn it and immerse it in Water and it still works.

I am running the sportstracker on my Nokia Navigator and it works like a charm. 1 question - When you share a route with a mate how does s/he follow the route? There is hardly any detail on the map that gets transferred and the real detail can only be seen on google earth - am I missing something?

Hi Cycling Addict, I assume that you are saving your workout as a .kml file and then emailing it.  Firstly do you have a Sportstracker account, makes sharing easy. If you want them to check the route you can replay it, if you are uploading to google earth, it is similar to the Sportracker site that you upload to.

The oNly way would be to Replay the Route in the Map Options, not much help as I had the same a couple of weeks back when I did a new MTB route with a group and when I wanted to redo again without them I couldnt, would be great if you could do it like a Voice Navigation, maybe an Idea

Okay minihijack, so this livesharing thing....

How does it work? Does it use data or just gps? If I want to let people view where I am how do I go about it? And can I get non sportstracker members to watch where I am?

Minihijack off.

Thanks

From what I can gather - the person who wants to view you needs to logon to sportstracker and you need to have enabled live sharing

very cool. It uses gps, all that you do is enable 'live tracking' on your sportstracker when you start an event. They can then go tho the sportstracker website and zoom in on the map where you are about and will see littlle dot moving around.

I actually think this is a good way to track your children when they are going out 'to watch dvds at a friends house'!

There must be data usage when live tracking is enabled. Just wondering how much ..........

Would that also have an effect on battery life?

With Livesharing: You need to activate it and then also make your Sportstracker Profile public, or be an user and be aded as a friend, then you can view. Not sure about the data cost and Battery Life when you do Livesharing will find out and let you know
