Had shimano spd's, nothing wrong with it - faultless performance, but are riding eggbeater sl's now and won't go back...

i've ridden both shimano and time but after gettin crank bro's candy i'll never ride anything else. the cage gives a much larger pedeling platform than most pedals and i've never had a problem in mud. they don't clog at all. the cage also offers protection from rocks and stumps. ridden them for 3 years and couldn't be happier.

Shimano XT or even better XTR. Still the best.

Thanks all for your input. I have decided to stick with the shimano and get the Xtr pedals. since I have had problems using specialized road shoes and switching from look pedals
