For the ladies

GoGo Girl

Recommended Posts

If you were given a magic wand, what would you wish for as a lady cyclist who belongs to a cycling club? What could your club do to improve your cycling experience?

What club events would motivate you to take your cycling to the next level?

How could you be motivated to join a women's league?

dont want to ride league, want to play. on singletrack.

aaaha the club could organise a skills weekend. maybe in 'boven :)

with someone who can ride with and show me how to corner faster, or suggest that i try a different position, and just generally for meeting like-minded people to ride with and learn from.

Happened to my folks too,  my father decided to jump a circle and my mother decided she would jump it with him...................... only for him to decide to stop and my mother went barreling into the back of him..

A " witness" jumped out of his car screaming          " I saw that bitch drive into the back of you"     only to get ceremoniously bliksemed in the chop.

Total cost..............   15K for moms car   27K for dads car and 5K for witnesses doctor fees

It would be quite cool if a riding club could organise a "companion" for all first time racers...

I had a friend that rode with me my first race and I think if it wasnt for him helping and advising I would have been terrified!

DECENT WSD kit, how about regular updates on women-specific developments in the sport- equipment, clothing, nutrition etc.

Coz I'm a beginner, I feel intimidate to ride in a big group, so how about offering smaller (or one-on-one like a personal trainer) sessions for ladies? Someone to show you the ropes and not laugh at you coz you dont have TONS of technical knowledge.

we do that, but if the girls don't pitch... we can't help! See a couple of clubs on our routes, and the ladies are scarce...

candz where are you from?

cos if you wanna go do the hubbers ride an NF the end of the month, there will probably be plenty of people who know lots about technical stuffs.
