I agree that a female moderator (or two) is a good idea, also think that the idea of moderators on specific threads sounds like a workable suggestion, with the notable exception of the chit chat thread (believe all have responsibility there).

 

Also think that 6 - 8 mods is a good idea

Unbiased rulings.

Reasons for closing a topic.

Mediator on sticky topics without getting involved in the discussion.

Fairness.

A sense of humour.

Helpfull.

I think the mods could be any sex, not sure why they have to be gender based. Im sure the ladies are just as adept as the guys.

I was a MOD on 2 other forums and its a crap job at times.Friends want you to bend the rules and the others get cross at you for carrying out your job.

The best mod would be a person that has no ties to the communtiy just has a set of rules to follow and thus "should" be unbiased.

Also agree with having specialist mods in each forum. Mods that can help with answers on tech items or even some of the professinal riders giving advice etc.
