Overlord Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 So Hagar decides that we should go for a nice training ride this morning on the Mtb's. I get a phone call from my Epic partner to inform me about this ride. Well without thinking twice I say yes no problem. Get to the pre arranged meeting point and I wait and wait but nobody shows. So I hightail it to the area that we will be riding in and still no one. After waiting for a while I return to the meeting point just to see them cycling towards me. It seems that Hagar had in his haste to get here forget to take the FRONT WHEEL OF HIS MTB!!! Luckily he got a spare front wheel from Red Devil and we could enjoy our ride. If anybody is selling a unicycle please think of Hagar as a potential buyer.
RedDevil Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 When my phone rang this morning I thought Hagar was about to cancel due to drinking too much red wine or had something far more interesting on offer than a MTB ride but nooooo, he's only packed his bike and left his wheel up the west coast with his bokoms!!! Lucky for our shark lover I have a garage full of bikes and umpteen wheels. He could take his pick! But a monocyle sounds like a plan A real man of course would have turned up and done a wheelie for the entire 50ks...

hagar Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 classic !!!! oh boy thanks Red Devil for the loan of that front tyre i am in debt for a few cold ones now i know why you are so damm quick that wheel made me fly !!!!! onetime my "special friend " thanks for hanging around and making that ride so enjoyable you guys are going to have a great epic i am sure !!!! i felt a real t!t this morning total disbelief at how on earth i could have packed everything in except the front wheel !!! Red Devil thanks for the coffee was just what the doctor ordered hey holy roller thanks for sorting my problem with the battery Onetime thanks for the post oh boy i still cant believe it

SwissVan Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I "know" someone who nearly forgot his wheel at home...He remembered a few seconds after reversing over it going down his driveway...Put his bike in the back of (Golf) car and left the front wheel leaning against the side of car.....
