Thermal/waterproof MTB socks?

Can anyone of you recommend thermal and waterproof MTB socks for winter riding. With the current morning dew/frost my toes are freezing and do get wet from the dew and frost while riding through the veld. Any products or advice??? Thanks.

I have even tried JIFFY bags......they are no good!!!

I don't know about waterproof but I use some that I got from Cape Union Mart. Some English make. Was expensive but keeps feet nice and warm.

They sure do! You can't call yourself a hardcore MTBr if you don't own some booties, preferably yellow, and some tights. You'll gain much respect by getting rid of your baggies and getting some nice bright booties!

I am sure that it must be SealSkinz, they retail for about R500....for a pair of socks!!! BUT apparently they work!!

I was sceptical, i think you'll battle to find them for under R600 these days. I had heard so many people swearing by them. Then i jumped when i saw them on the CRC may sale for R310 all inclusive. They are more than just socks, and passed the 100miler test with flying colours.

 

Now I really wished i had a pair on freedom challenge last year!
