See all that spped has affected my capacity to think clearly so I think leisurely ride with binocs when clearly it's going to be lungs on the handle bars stuff. Slave Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Do you still have that 50 blade dude. Maybe I should put it on my bike, then perhaps I can be fast (Not. Never.) You have to have leg speed to turn a 50 at the knots you were doing. When you get used to that 52, you gonne be really fast.

Some of the other hubbers I rode with on the wickend, said I should change my 42 front for a 39 and go from 22 to 25. That would make a ride through SBR (anywhere) take all day. So when do you get your pilot's licence? (Nah, forget the next question. It's a family forum dude. I'll get shot at dawn for treason if I aks that one.)

Slave Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Now ideally, I would like a triple chain ring up front. 53t 48t and 42t. I find that 42 just too much of a jump up in leg speed from the 52t. The 22 is just a tad small with a 42. I have to stand up to do a really steep cimb and it hurts my back. Ain't no way, I would consider less than the 42 though. I like it. Thanks Os. I have one of those links to the gear calculators, it just calculates speed in aech gear according to cadence, and gera ratio. Quite cool actually.

Cabinet has not discussed the matter yet but I have little doubt that approval will be forthcoming. (See, I even race at home and come second in a two - horse race, ALL THE TIME.) Flip and then we got E P O there as well. Going to be two groups. Those who can and those who can't. Hey Nance. Looks like we'll be keeping each other comapny again.
