Hot mama Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I am keen on a Womens specific bike, after hours of research I decided on the above bike. However I am told by friends that I am too tall for a womens bike, I am 1.79m. I really am tired of "unisex" uncomfortable bikes. Does anyone have an answer for me please?

Taps Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Can't see that you're too tall for the bike. Good choice BTW. It comes in a large which would probably suit you. Best to try one out if you can but I'm sure it would be OK.

The best is to be fitted on a bike. You can also search the web for bikefitting websites that you feed your measuremenst in and it will tell you more or less what you need to have. www.wrenchscience.com is quite nice. Just subscribe they might actually suggest something there they have a list of some bike brands.
