My rant for the week:

So yesterday  whilst on the way home some dumb cyclist had a crash. Person was all bloodied and looked um rather gross. Now, those dim motorists always moan about us being on the road and our actions but when a commuter crashed how many of them stopped? Zip. Nadda. Angry Come on people! This person had a bad crash and looked Dead, surely someone should have stopped?

It is sad! Surely some twot faced male would have loved to stop for the damsel in distress?? LOL Joke is that, fine if there was no where to pull over, good excuse but hello... have you seen Bowling Avenue? On the left is just dirt (where the cyclist fell).

Anyone here see the fall? Confused

I stopped but was unable to assist. Ouch

Yah, agreed, Bowling is easy, but as I said, people dont care, its not them, I am okay Jack, look the other way, and I am off.!

Sad that we have got to this point really it is.!

Yeah right. If you stop she'll want you to take her to a hospital and she'll get blood all over your seats. No thanks.

So, you would not have stopped? Interesting. Shocked

sad' date=' actually. even when 70% of RSA claims they're Christians, they show no respect for other's lives or give them a little space.Confused[/quote']

So true, so true!!

Religion has nothing to do with it. It's more to do with the way you get brought up. I carry a medical kit with gloves in case of an accident and there's blood.

but religion is part of the way you're brought up up... but don't let us get into a fight because of it. If you're a bunch of thugs, religion or not, you're gonna be a thug!

Was just talking to some colleagues about this... the one girl's dad had a major fall once whilst mtb-ing and also no one stopped. He stopped cycling. One of reps just said she has stopped for a cyclist who was all bloodified and helped them. She drives a car. No worries about the gore. She is just happy that she could help that person.  That is big.

I agree, it is about what you are taught and the manner in which you were raised but it seems lately that everyone has a don't care attitude!!

Really saddens me as to what society has become!

I suppose we would all stop coz we are all aware of how it feels to bite the tar/dirt.

I was hit by a taxi on Louis Botha years ago, and ironically it was another Taxi driver that stopped to help.
