Pappa Bear Posted June 16, 2009 Share Hi, I managed to crack the frame of my pride and joy........ lucky for me I have a 5year warranty on the frame......NOPE. Took my bike to the LBS with proof of payment and asked how the warranty works, claiming etc..... Turns out that as I have painted my Giant bicycle (done proffesionaly by Cycle Art) that my warranty is void....... How k@K is that.......... so be warned........before painting your bicycle please check if te warranty is still valid. I am so since painting a frame will do nothing to the welding / structural integrity I think this is a layme ass ecxuse- but guess this is not a battle I will win against GIANT bicycles. So.........
