So was wondering what options I have to protect my frame from rust and damn corrosion where the paint has been rubbed away by cables?

I don't want to patch it with paint as it will ruin my cool silver paint job. Any primers or stuff that I could cover the spots with so that the frame survives the winter?

You Capetonians, honestly. Move up to the Highveld, nothing corrodes here except for the occasional moment when David Bullard's tongue is let loose (by David Bullard). That's unlikely to affect your frame though, adversely or otherwise. Go have a squizz in the hardware shop, depending what metal your bike's made of they probably have an appropriate potion for you..

Aaaah, love the hub. Start with looking for a solution and end with looking for a babe. Best you check that thread from a few weeks back, apparently getting nail polish can be a lot more difficult than might first meet the eye.

hahahahaha thank goodness i already have a babe smiley1.gif and yes apparently nail poliush is hard to find when it belongs to someone but rather just go into the chemist it is cheap and should be right next to the fake nails and you have your solution for a night out on the drag in the cape as well smiley2.gif
