At least a fan can use the train in europe...

You come forth as a very unhappy person. If you hate this place so much why dont you just go and live in europe. Then you can ride the train to the vuvu free games every weekend.

I vote to ban them for no other reason than my idiot neighbour. Everytime he has a braai (most weekends), he insists on getting his out and waking up the entire neibourhood at 1am.

Try the following if he blows it take out your hose pipe and hose him.

apparantly it works for barking dogs. . . might work for him. the effect will be more dramatic during winter.

The Vuvuzela only started around 8 years ago' date=' they gave it away for free at that stage...why do people say it is a culture of tradition?

The plastic vuvu as we know it is has only been in existance for about 8 years. But in its metal form it has been used for many more years.

My opinion is that part of watching a game on TV is to also experience and hear the ups and downs (oos & aahs) of the crowd. The vuva's noise blocks any of that which results in 90 min of drone or a game with no "feeling". I have never been to a game so it might be different not sure. Nevertheless I dont think you can dictate to the paying fans.

they only started manufacturing vuvuzela's 8 years ago but the loyal sa soccer fans were blowing home made trumpets much longer than that.

it is tradition and once the world cup is over it will carry on and the soccer supporter wont have european and some south africans too bother them anymore.Big%20smile

You can also try the water trick. .  another idea is get a huge as fircraker and throw it over the fence. . . since they are noisy already the other neighbours might blame them. .
