Saw a oke walking around in Canal Walk tonight with what looked like a new Oltre with Red components and Spinergy hoops. Very, very nice. Same colour as DMC's bonie. Must've just picked it up from shop as there was no pedals on.

Thanx Bianchisti. Everytime I sell one, I buy one and I say its the last one. I'm now pushing 50+ and yes while Bianchi makes them , it will inspire me not to stop.This baby is just simply awesum. After a 5 month layoff I find the ride the best i have every tried. Just cant wait to get fit now and drop the hammer.

Yes it is an invasion. After trying to persude them it is slowly sinking in. They selling their bikes like crazy to get one.My Bianchi's been in the flats since 1982 .... pre - Pantani ! Bought my 1st @ Kriel @ Binneman deep in the Northern suburbs 1982... To me memory 1 SL, 3 Oltres 2 x Nero ) and a T - Cube were bought within 1 week.

I all due respect Chippo there are quite a few top end bikes in da flats. Not only Bianchis. There is a major cycling invasion in the flats of late :-) and many TOP END steeds. Im old school as my 1st steed was a Peugeot Super Vitus 980. Bianchi sponsored team Peogeot who was the French national team. Then got myself a Bianchi Piaggio. So lets go retro :-),,,Parts were Gipiemme, Suntour Superbe, Ofmega Crank , Hutchinson Tubbies, Pusuit hubs. Wheels hand built by the late Mr Cloete grandfather of the the youngsters( Hilton ,Gary ) at Crown Cycles. etc etc Piaggio manufactured the Vespa scooters and owned Bianchi an that time. That is where my culutre started. I'm not a social forum socialite, but yes this blog suits me. So yes let the culure grow in da flats

The TREK sarted long ago,,, you included. Its only coz you hide in the mountains with you Bianchi ( and we dont see ) and fool us on the road with your Giant that Ulrich rode ( also a dopie ) :-). Oops.. Then again he rode Bianchi too.

 

I'm watiching you here and see how you scanning the classifieds for your size and suitable price ;-) So yes not long before both your steeds here too.
