If I'm not mistaken it's called Tranny because the chain stays can extend thereby enabling it to "transform" to a singlespeed. MTB Kid Posted June 26, 2009 Share Correcto ---- it can be converted to SingleSpeed without the need for a BB concentric or slot adjusters in the rear dropout. This bike is not about the weight though. Ride reports have been very complimentary and this bike is 2 years in development. We will have 1 on show in Knysna.
