Hope Rotors with Juicy Calipers

Thug

Recommended Posts

I would like to replace my stock Juicy clean sweep rotors (160mm) with the Hope Floating Disc rotors (183mm). Obviously I would need an adapter but that's the least of my concern.

I have heard that the rivets on the Hope's catch on the Juicy calipers which renders the match between the two incompatible.

Anyone have this problem or has anyone managed a work around ?

Cant comment on the bolts, but make sure that the width of the braking surface match up with the width of the pads! Not too much of an issue if the braking surface is wider than the pad, but the other way round is a big no!

Green circle on rotor = rivet

rivet comes into contact with green circle on caliper

If its true, is there a work around or do I need to sell my Juicy Carbons and buy a set of Hopes ?

Yup, otherwise your spacing will be all wrong and the caliper won't bite the disc in the right place.
