What are my chances of slipping them through undetected?

Its comming with a group order.

 

Have you had luck at this or am I going to end up paying 40%

Just ask CRC to put "bicycle spares" on the invoice/delivery note. I've had shoes on one of my orders and it came though undetected.

I have 30 mins before the order goes off.

It will be part of a big group order of bicycle spares.

 

It may slip through with no problem. If they want a clearing agent, the package may be unpacked and checked item of item or it may not.

 

Its a risk either way.

You will pay 40% if it's clothing only.  If customs find/suspect cloting you will pay 40% on the shipment.  Painful experience speaking.

 

Plus I think CRC states on their delivery page that they wil NOT misrepresent contents in shipping bill and that you should not even ask them!

yes I have. They do have some fields where you can post request. Tell them about the extra tax story and they will adjust the invoice. I've even once asked them to ship my order a certain date because I was on holiday and did not want my package left at the PO while I'm away.

maybe not value of contents but what is in it they will.
