Buy the tools for each job as you are doing it. Alot of these toolkits have outdated tools that you will never use.

To remove the new type of cranks you need:

multi tool (torque wrench if you have the money)

BB spanner

To remove Cassette you need:

chain wip

lock ring remover

Do not forget that BB spanners are type specific. Make sure you get the correct one!

See if you can get one of these from IceToolz. The Park Tools one is like R280.

The spanner, Shimano not Ice Tools, goes for R75 but it does damage the BB cups a bit and you can not control the torque as with the socket one.

Picked up a Park Cassette remover for 105 bucks and a BBB chainwhip for R165 yesterday. You can get cheaper cassette removers for around 65 bucks or so but for 40 bucks difference I thought I may as well get something that's been known to work.

Funny enough the BBB chainwhip at 165 looked way nicer and has a decent grip compared to the Park one which is around R220.

A chainwip you can make yourself. All you need is a piece if steel and an old chain.

Or you can get the new Pedro's Chain Vise. YOu will still need the lock ring remover though.
