Only took 20 sec out of Sastre.I watched Sastre destroy him in the Giro, and Sastre is definately not favourite above Contador, Evans and Schleck. So much for :"I would've kicked their arses..." 101SCC Posted July 4, 2009 Share not bitterness, rather amusement, I would never expect humility from LA, "the greatest champion ever",but rather respect for fellow champions / competitors. The way I see it, If you belittle your rivals, you belittle your Victory, You can only be a Great Champion if you beat Great Rivals. Today LA was not impressive, I can't wait for the mountains, Nibali, Krueziger, Schleck, Sastre, Contador, Martin, Gessink and even Evans all looked strong, the Cat 4 climb exposed who bought their climbing legs! But the fact that he has brought a passion for the tour can not be ignored. 3 times more people in Monaco than with the Grand Prix ..................... That is a lot of people.
