Guest Big H Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I will take some pics of the moon rising in Cuvango tonite. Absiolutely awesome. Wind is blowing quite hard here and with the red dust in the sky it makes for awesome viewing. We have an onoscured 360 deg view from our site camp. This is where home is.... S14 28.116 E16 15.858 Our camp is not on Google Earth yet. The river you see to the right is the Cuvango river that becomes the Kavango river and that becomes the Okovango River. The little town further to the right is Cuvango. It looks great from the air but only the shell is left in the form of old run down houses ready to collapse. Quite scary. it must have been a beautifull and bustling town before 1975...... now.... nothing!!!!!!
