Its strange how fast LA gains fans as soon as he does something magical like today.

Oh boy, wait till he next gest dropped and 3/4 of those fans disappear.

GO LAClapClapClap

I am scared on his behalf of Wiggins, but eish the man is still looking good, just when everyone who hates his guts was jumping for joy

They stopped the Astana truck at the border and found none of the supposed "supplements".

LOL

Latest news:

And French officials denied that they gave serious consideration to confiscating the olive oil from the Astana bus, on the grounds that riders were using it to give themselves an unfair advantage by covering themselves in it to make them more "slippy".

Would like to know what went through schlicks head when lance rode up.

Phil Ligget with the understatement of TdF2009, talking about Andy Schleck as LA passed him:

"He must be surprised to see Armstrong there".

Ligget is a very polite oke.

What is it with the okes and respect, if your legs are shot and I'm feeling strong I'm going to leave you for dead! Screw respect! He wasn't surprised he was moedeloos!!

Common admit it the man still has it at 37 and to pull back more than 30 seconds on a climb like that in the way that he did over the pick of the crop, is admirable and deserves respect.Smile

in his words?

"I had no choice. ... So I waited until we had a steeper section and then I got away with an acceleration," he said.
"I made some changes to my position yesterday _ I raised the seat height," he said. "So in general, I was pedaling better today."

in alberto's?

"It's easy to explain _ he's a very great rider," said Contador, who leads his Astana teammate by 1:37. "He was in the past, and he showed it once again."

Zaggery, he is great. What I am saying is, that on the day I don't care who you are, if I feel strong, i'm gone!

But I think the Schleck brothers thought they are seeing a ghost.....Did you see how Andy looked at him when he joined the group....Frank stuggled to catch his wheel.....its all about experiance....like he said they have strong legs but he know the tour.....

Shew. He looked 'average' on that last climb. Three minutes down - big
deficit so early on. He'll be strong in the second half though. Basso
was class - as expected.

Oh, Armstrong's saddle looks lower than it used to be, but maybe that's just my eyesight that's deteriorating...
