Planned ride on Saturday from Woolies - who is joining. Will start 6:30 and plan to be back before 10. Ride out to Blouberg and back via Philidelphia and Adderley - about 70 to 80 @ 28km/h.

Looks like it May be a bit Wet on Saturday! Thinking of going Out on Sunday. Anybody? Any Distance, over 6okm?

Paarl - du Toitskloof Pass - Bainskloof Pass - Wellington

121 km

1800 m+ ascent

23 - 25 km/h avg.

DQ for any big blade moves. ^_^

 

Wheels roll at 06h30 from Paarl Mall parking lot.

 

Bring food and tech spares as there is merely a tuck shop along the way.

Bring arm warmers and/or gilet as it can be chilly in the early AM shadow of the Drakenstein Mountains.

Have a front and rear light for visibility.

Frail Im keen for some long slow Sunday rides :)

Puncheur dont know if I will make that ride :blush: 121kms with 1800m+ climbing is going to hurt!!!

 

With your comeback after more than 6 months, rather not, Ha Ha Kieran.

Maybe in 8 weeks or so, eh, when you've built some greater endurance?

Definately in 6 to 8 weeks, riding dependant, would love to join this route :)

29th is looking good for me :) Waiting for replacement shifters for the bike so doubtful I will get it up and running this week, next week should be hundreds :)

I have seen that :) I have an awesome job that allows me to be out on the road quite a bit and just driving some of the roads I have makes me want to ride them so badly!
