Wannabe Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 My Solis also does not like the wet / cold out there. She decided to stay safe and dry in the garage. I'm getting back into bed now (snuggling up with the wife sounds a much better proposition than getting drenched in water and chilled to the bone )

Nice to see you on the road DM (albeit in your car). Ride was lekker chilled (relative) seeing that there were only 4 of us. Really chilly in the beginning and roads were wet. Got caught by light drizzle going up Helz (from Pniel side). Had a much needed coffee, and less needed M&B OTG but it was good either way. Warmed up quite nicely for the rest of the ride over polkadraai and back to D"ville. Had a nice KOM contest over the 3 climbs and impromptu intermediate sprint. A solid century ride.

No way I was going out in the wet and cold. Got back in bed and promptly fell asleep again. Glad you enjoyed your ride.
