I'm going to do the 65 as well. Starting in S, but using it as a training ride, not so much of a race. EDIT: Probably will only be training until a group passes and then I'll be forced to chase!

Had a fellow rider join me when I stopped to take photos of the views, we shared the road to the Wellington T junction where I turned left and he right towards Stellies. Rest of the time on my own. Wind did pick up a bit, but not too much to be a real hindrance. Did not do the route I planned, and ended up with just over 70 km at a 25 km/h avg.Nice high cadence, steady speed ride.

Micky Mouse Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 So we (Colliehond and me) did the WCE this morning........ I finished, but Colliehond is lying in hospital after a huge crash. Tore his ligament right off between his collerbone and shoulderblade. Operating tomorrow morning at 10:00 to sew it all together again. Was VERY EINA! , but the meds he is on knocked him right out. What a way to start your week!
