Had a good ride with SirK, Bikemonster and his friend JP.

Thanks guys, must do it again soon.

Was a nice rustige 72Km (according to my clock - there is some dispute against Wannabe's distance).

I got full KOM points :D well...... there wasn't a race really B)

Will maybe join again next Sunday for the same ride.

p.s. Wannabe - I still feel K@K about what happened today..... fork skewer was bent beyond use - got an old rear wheel skewer and got my brother to turn out more thread to work for the bracket. Next time I suggest we rather tie it down..... it's just safer.

I will just add that sirK is an absolute machine, and that Wannabe claims to be out of shape.

Nice guys both, but obviously completely untrustworthy. :)

Weather permitting, JP and I will be doing the same route on Fri and Sun next weekend.

SirK, not your fault. You DID suggest we use the tie down.... Damage not that bad, new bartape will do wonders.

Bikemonster, I really am out of shape, just had a good day today. Completely rested, no riding during the week after that dog took a chunk out of my leg on Monday. Next week will be different, as I intend to put in some mileage (weather permitting).

Where dis Palm Grove Centre located?

And headwind is putting it mildly. Weather24 predicts 40km/h + SE. Gonna be brutal.

Wind will only get "woes" later in the morning / early afternoon...

and besides... riding in the wind makes you strong ;)

Airbender - what happened to the Bainskloof - rawsonville - du toits kloof ride? Am I going to have to do it alone sometime? ;)

I look forward to that dream route too, SirK...

My calendar will accommodate that another time.

Tx SirK. Why does he not just say "In front of Mugg & Bean". <_< ;)

Then I'll know where it is...

If you hang with me, you will learn new things...

Yep. Not many upgrades from there. The bike's already faster than I am.

I am in the same boat... Er, on the same saddle...
