I'll be on a road bike, aiming to do around 27-28 km/h average, nothing too fierce. Hell, if you want to ride a unicycle, I don't really care. I don't believe in cyclist apartheid!

Tiny K Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 let me know where you guys start - we will only start at back - so not even sure if we will catch up - I'm the slow guy in the new team - so the rest will do my pace Looks like we are starting with the open group - One of our 'special' team mates(would put another word out of sheer irritation but I'd rather not) is riding as a PPA marshal - so open seed it is for us - maybe we can make it a teams effort by helping each other along. Would be a laugh (well for me at least) if we don't make the cut off time Does anyone know what the start time of the open group was last year?

I think they left at close to 10am... sorry Sirk, I just taking the p!$$ I can't see you guys starting later than 7.30 (I'm sure they will bunch quite a few groups together to get the bunch numbers up)...

'tandems will go off first, followed by A, B, C, D, and so on. Groups will be combined as per normal PPA funrides, depending on the number of riders in a group. Groups will be sized on the morning.' I leave my place ar 4.40, and hook up with J and 5.00am on the corner of Jip De Jager & Hendrik Verwoerd - you can meet me at the Corner on Durban Road where Forsdicks is (I think it's called Pasita Street or something).
