The Burger has had many routes over the years.

So, when you speak of the "original" route, there are many to choose from, depending on when you first rode it.

Ohhhhh, well last year was my first so to me this is the original route because I know it as the previous year's route

Er, now I gotcha.

You have a point.

The 'classical' route - - is the Stellenbosch > Paarl > Wellington > Klapmuts > Stellenbosch one.

It is a great route that covers my hometown, Paarl.

Riding tomorrow morning - leaving corner St Johns and Racecourse at 5:30 to ride over Vissershok, through CONTermanskloof, through to Burgundy Estate and then onto Plattekloof, then left onto Hendrik Verwoerd, over Stinkvingerbult to Jip de Jager and back via Kenridge.

I watched the bikemonsterlet play junior cricket in the drizzle.

If anybody is interested in a crazy, middle of the day ride (mad dogs and Englishmen) tomorrow (Sunday, Nov 14), I am possibly going to be riding out to Val de Vie via Stellenbosch and Helz. Some company to the top of Helz (or beyond) would be nice

I'll check back here tomorrow - if you're interested, drop me a PM.

Plans changed, craziness averted. Got my fix in at a more sensible time. What a lovely day to be out riding a bike.

Oh. Hang on. Any day is a lovely day to be out riding a bike!

Me in 3 degrees Frankfurt.

Constant rain and sunset at 15h00.

Missing my iron horse.

My rear wheel is back in to the supplier/manufacturer last week. Lateral movement.

Should be sorted this week. Hmph!

did an 80k mtb tide with blackie

Yeah! Chatted to Blackie last time we rode with the Metropolitan Racing Team - seems you guys ride road to scout for dirt track.

Enjoy the week guys!

I had a nice relaxing, chilled out weekend at home. Closed the door to the "bike room" so that the Red Rocket could not entice me into riding. :P Will be riding during the week, though.
