Thanks Waynedude! Ja, still the original paint job - pity they didn't know how to apply decals properly. But that Coppi of yours is pure beauty!

Not my intention at all! But I could if I said it's the "Blue Bikes brand"… ;)

Delgado's opening post for this thread was organising retro-rides. Do these happen with any frequency?

I am currently restoring an Olmo from somewhere in the late 70's or early 80's, and it has a mix of campy, suntour and shimano.

First time I am restoring an oldie, so hope I have the patience

The bike is a mix & match, and I picked it up for R800 in an antique shop

Shimano brake levers (basically working, but hoods are gone, so want to replace)

Suntour shifters in good nick

Modolo corsa brakes

Suntour cranks in good nick

Campy FD (moertoe in a crash)

CAmpy RD (nouvou record) one pulley wheel busted

Shimano 600 hubs on open pro rims

I bought a NOS Shimano 600 brake levers and arches, so will definitely now go the Shimano route.

Will be asking some advice on this thread if I have problems

Hi Everybody

I had a lot of fun with this "oldie", but I think it's time to let it go, because its been hanging in the garage for a while now. It's not totally original and I had a few upgrades done through the years. I am not sure about the year, but think it's a 88/89 model. All I want to know is if you can tell me how much I can ask for it? I don't have a clue.

Here is the specs briefly:

Specialized epic allez carbon (size 56)

Shimano 105 shifters

Shimano 105 rear deraileur

Rolf Vector wheels

No seatpost & saddle

If anybody can help me it will be appreciated.
