First off, put an inexpensive-but-not-crappy seatpost and saddle on it otherwise it's worth not-a-lot.

 

Then, assuming wheels spin nicely, gears change properly etc. I would guess around R3k would be a fair price.

 

I'm no expert, so if that bike has specialist appeal for being what looks like early carbon fibre, I could be way out.

hi all:

 

i have a set of shimano rsx sti levers that i want to take apart and clean-up/get shifting 100 percent.

does anyone know of an available manual or good website link to help me out??

Yes, it's Fizik. You get two kinds of brown. One is called Antique brown (the one currently on the Bianchi), and the other one is a lighter, tan brown, which is called Honey. So, depending on what shade of brown the saddle is (if you'd like to match) you could get tape to go with it.

 

Brooks also has those shades of brown. But it is pricey. Genuine leather though on the Brooks, so actually worth it.

This Pinarello Treviso SL has been with me since i started cycling in the late 80's

 

She sure does need some attention to restore her to the original condition when bought in in 1989 for a whopping R 5500-00.

 

The little cuplprit "tweety" who was responsible for removing the handle bar tape.
