I know it's small, but 2/3 of the most famous MTB family in the world gracing us is pretty damn sweet. Fancypants alloys.But, rather build the prototype in what metal you can get, try Stainless steel for starters. will be heavy, but it will ride. Bakkies Posted September 22, 2009 Share sourcing the material in RSA is a problem but one of my old professors(he is a material specialist. he is helping me allot. It will be aluminium. My first frame will be a simple monoc frame. it dosn.t look like it now bot wait until 'im finished with the project.
