But this is a special Sat is a Sat that everyone goes screw work I'm going riding! We going to be there from around 11:00 till 16:00 even later maybe. Haha Jason and I were discussing before the race weekend on what times we should get to jonkers and he said around 1 as people will get tired so the shuttles will become empty.

New? get off the shrooms dude. no it doesnt. ?And dont mock my sled boy. *mock anger*

but seriously,i really wish i could go. hell, i have to 'book' in advance just to make it to SLoP at the end of this month smiley6.gif

besides, Uncle Blatter will see your Jonkers track and raise you a World Cup, cos he wants the lights on, even during the day. So..

what time you really gonna bail from Jonkers? 11h00 - 16h00 without a shuttle is a damn long time. That track is pretty long to push up on till the very start of the race track. You could very easily session the bit between the road gaps. It's staggeringly good as it's gravity powered, and not so much pedalling.

Oh and dont fall near 'that' section. You will know it when you see what's just off to the side. ahahhah

on the other side? well... hahah. i will let you see for yourself. smiley17.gif

yeah. the longer the better. I totally agree with you. Just take lotsa water and snacks. lotsa places to stash your rucksacks.

also, watch out for the XCers. some roll down the track. shout real hard, cos they almost all sport ear buds. This one dude couldnt/didnt even want to hear the diesel truck roaring up behind him. We had to stop and wait till he eventually split off on another road. honestly. w.t.f.

heyall. I had 2 hours to burn, so I grabbed my toolbag and headed for the hills. Slashed out the beginnings of the new line on signal hill between the fire roads. It's the existing straight line i've been moaning about. Trying to use the natural features in that area as best I can. So today, broomed in an off camber turn ending in a sizable drop. The drop has a landing, but abruptly ends (drop to stop), so dont say you werent warned smiley17.gif There is a natural chicken run for those who dont fancy the drop to stop smiley17.gif

On the fire road, I've left a little mound of rocks to denote the start. As you drop in, careful of the little exposed stump jutting out from the left. Snag a tire on that and your sidewall might not do too well.

Been thinking about where to take that drop to, and what to do about the existing straight line down to teh next fire road. I have some ideas, and for those who are used to running that line, again: dont say you weren't warned. Simultaneously, dont stress when u see what jumps up in the next few weeks/months. There is always a chicken run somewhere smiley2.gif

but I need some help with ideas and/or blood, sweat and cooldrinks smiley2.gif

If anyone game for some labour, or an idea. send me a PM.

start of little corner (which will be modified later to be a proper berm. I might just leave the off camber so riders will end up making the berm themselves sliding all over the place smiley17.gif
