hahahah yep. off season for DH. Wanna get stronger and fitter for 2011. But I reckon i'm probably gonna end up doing more Dirtjumping than XC-only. Work on SH a lot more, and ride my lighter bike still amused by how the handling of the bike has changed... pretty stoked actually.

gonna invest in a cheapo timing system for us running SH. Then we can have ourselves a bit of a mini comp. what say y'all>?

Quite tru that Flowta: i've noted that the doubleply minion i recently had fitted is holding up pretty well even though it's not UST compatible in the strict sense. I gues the fact it aint the wire bead, but a folding bead helps a lot.

 

but i bought a UST minion just in case Pity Schwalbe doesnt do a UST lineup just yet. Their DH tires (Dirty Dans and Muddy Marys) kick Wetscreams and Minions square in the teeth.

flowta: i was told by the LBS the wirebeads tend to burp more in the gnar than the folding bead. Can you, or anyone else for that matter, confirm this?

MAn i havent been down to SH in a while... Been buuzzee like a bee in spring! I havent been beack since i built the path to the right and across to the gap...

 

Cap:

Basically i just dont go as fast as normal. LIke with any corner you need to brake to take it, youll have to brake to make it...hehe.

 

I havent been out cos i need to urgently repair my DU bushing... Right now its all clunk clunk clunk, and alot of side flex. Actually feels like im riding with a flat back tire when i corner...

 

Plus Ive just acquired MY summer fitness machine; a 2006 Track Frame which sucked alot of my money... oh well!
