Yes I went out and sprinkled dirt on my bike haha I road down the long jump things that the guys take a run up on and it was made of clay so some of it stayed

I saw Mark's chain device at the Paarl race. Very nice. All carbon and blingy. Typical Hopkins. He reckons the gonna be about $180.00. That's about R300.00 right?

 

I bought his wheels off of him at he race. R3000.00 for hope pro 2 hubs and mavic 823 rims. He also threw in the cassette and the brand new Maxxis Minion Tyres.

 

My wheels are now for sale. Any takers?

Sorry to burst your bubble but $180 dollers is not R300 http://iafrica.com/ $1 = 7.42 so 7.42 x 180=R1335 and that also proberly with out vat

what kinda funny sounds and where? as long as your bike is 'tight', what's a little squeak here and there. How did you clean it? high pressure watercannon or just a normal hose pipe? the latter shouldnt bugger up seals etc.

I had the biggest fright of my life today! was just riding around in my road and then all of a sudden my rear wheel would rub the frame randomly. so i rode it up to my house, took off the wheel to find that it was completely ossilating and it was moving from side to side along the axcel.

 

I thought that that was the end of my hub....and getting the Marzo, but it turns out the nuts just came a little loose so 2 turns later with a 17 spanner, it was all fine
