Matt Posted August 18, 2009 Share Hi Guys, Some valid points raised. We certainly don't want adverts to ruin the experience on The Hub. As some have pointed out, ads are necessary to keep the forum running, but we do have some level of control over what ads get displayed. A lot of our ads come through the Google Adsense program and aren't pre-screened before they appear on the site. Ads can be filtered however, e.g. no ads for specific websites and we've blocked numerous ads which were inappropriate. E.g a while back there were many complaints about a SMS "scam" and which has been blocked. The best approach is to post something in the Comments and Suggestions forum or send us an email (ideally with a screen shot of the offending ad).
