Shock and Horror!

Roons

I went out on a Cyclelab group ride on Saturday morning and realised why it is that roadies don't greet... they're too busy concentrating on staying alive' date=' that was my experience anyway Wink  Taxis, traffic, skinny wheels... it was all a little overwhelming Tongue

Did you lose a bet? Confused

Jokes aside - whether we like it or not roadie or mtb - we are perceived as a community of cyclist and anything that we do reflects on us as as a group.

Thank you ND

@Roons.... no I was waiting for you to EVENTUALLY join me at Breedts Nek, I figured that was never gonna happen so my next best bet was to dust off my road bike Wink

Glad I'm not the only one who rides single file when out riding on my own Wink

I think from now on we need to stop this gratuitous waving - it is dangerous on those skinny tyres. Keep both hands on the wheel at all times!

Now we have the "muddy children" thinking we like them. Do you see what a momentary lapse of concentration will do for us? Come on Guys - don't encourage them to leave the mud and dirt.

It's people like this that drag us down, laugh at our outfits and so on.

If you are in my are I would do the same. But the most amazing thing I did see this morning was a BMW using an indicator. He was driving over the circle instead of around it but atleast he was indicating.
My good man are you suggesting that the Bavarian schnellmobile actually comes fitted with thos ghastly trinkets??

BRILLIANT!

I drive one, so I know you are right!

I used to indicate when I first got the car.  I then received an email from my local garage telling me to stop - people are not sure what to do when a BMW uses the indicators. It confuses them - I was told to conform!

Und Schnell about it!
