Currently on Crank Bros but heading back onto flatties. Also planning on riding shorter distances and trying to go down more hills.

theres no option for my double-sided pedals ... shimano on one side, flatties on the othr side. now i just need a remote control so that i don't accidently clip in when i'm meant to be clipped out.

Well I got some PD-M545 off a Hubber. Really great pedals and solid. He was personally not impressed with them and I originally was tempted to toss them. Took them apart out of curiosity and ended up servicing them - the are now friggin awesome.

 

I'm still new to the clipless scene and these have saved my bacon.

My wife got the LOOK QUARTZ and loves them. I'll also be looking at these shortly. With the Eston race with all that mud she cliped in everytime without hassles, I needed to keep cleaning my cleats.

I am riding the entry level Crank Bro's egg beaters and will be for the forseeable(spelling) future as I have a spare set or two in the cupboard

Have ridden Crank bros, loved then until i hit a rock during a race. The pedal just colapses and only DNF in 4 years. Ride Shimano now, probably not the best but indestructible.

And what I've heard is that Look has got a much better after service that the others.

I had LOOK quarts', they in a box in the garage now, nice pedals, but they clip out extremely easily, so if you are doing a sprint up a hill or suddenly place any pressure upwards, they would un-clip, causing your knee to come flying past your ear...
