choose one that fits your pocket.

Check what pressures you are riding. since all these rims have a pressure limit.

the lighter they are the less strong they are

Olympics is th most popular for xc racing after that the 355

  • A great rim for all mountain, heavy duty trail use as well as slalom, mountain cross, or Super-D events
  • Welded joint
  • Black anodized finish
  • FEA optimized center arch for added stiffness
  • Can be used with or without tube
  • Flow rim the rest are for XC

I'm a 355 fan myself, I have two wheelsets built on these rims and another on the Flows. The 355 has a wider profile that the Olympic and as a result you get a larger volume out of your tires and IMO a better profile. For XC and light trail riding go 355, if you're hard on rims then go Arch.

Once again just check the pressures you are riding

I went with the sunringle EQ25 rims since I ride my tires 2,8 bar which is to close to the limit for my liking on the stans rims

I emailed someone about it a while ago and was told the following:

The rim I recommend for South African conditions is the ZTR355 Stans rim. It has a rounder profile than the Olympic rims and weighs around the 355gram mark.

There is a rider limit on the ZTR Olympic and ZTR Race 7000 rims, but not really on the ZTR355 rims. The problem with putting weight limits on products is that you can get a 70kg rider that breaks rims becos he doesn?t ride smoothly and just thrashes the trails, or you can get a 110kg rider who rides smoothly, with finesse and is not hard on his equipment.

The Arch is an aggressive XC rim that is 25% stiffer laterally than the ZTR355 and weighs about 425grams each. (Compared to 355grams for the ZTR355.) So you are getting a stiffer rim, but you are adding about 140grams to your wheel build
