Ha, emailed her as soon as I got the sms and I'm still waiting for a reply Angry, I tell you if it's not email scams it's sms scams.. and if she does reply she'll most likely want my banking details, which I am not too keen about giving out

Won a new 2008 polo in 2009, through the FIFA organisation.

To verify I had to call some number in Brazil.

Get wins like these weekly, and also the local "you won in a lifestyle survey you completed, so please join for a finger lunch and win a golf, if you buy our crappy points holiday at De Aar" phonecalls

I got a simialr one that read, Congratulations the owner of this number (cell no) won 3000Euro or special goodies for your phone. Please call 00239211396 for your prize.

I phone the number from my landline, and the thing rings a few times then reroutes to another line. Not suprisingly, no answer!

next year September all this direct marketing has to stop. Anything from emails, letter, phone calls or SMSes. They can be fined 10% or R1 000 000 of yearly turnover. They have to have written permission to contact you then. Untill then, everyone will be bombarded with phone calls.

im still not too clear about this one...

so once you give them your banking details, what do they do with it?

as hubbers we mail our banking details to other hubbers to do deposits

can we not use their banking details then for the same purposes?
